| Obama stays close in race as Republican rivals lag
One only has to look at how each candidate has run their campaigns to see who is the better Democratic leader. Clinton's campaign made errors at the start and have failed to correct them. 1-Asking big supporters to contribute the maximum; now they can't contribute again. 2-Not setting spending limits. 3-Incorrectly assuming the race would be over by Feb 5. 4-Not having a Plan B. Lack of economic strategy-making the wrong assumptions-a massive failure of planning and organization. Compared with the Obama campaign which has out performed in fundraising, organizing, inspiring people, technology; it's a true grassroots effort. Now ask yourself who you'd want to lead? .
New GNC president hopes to get company into shape
Almost a decade ago, then-Rite Aid executive Beth J. Kaplan came to the Sixth Avenue offices of General Nutrition Centers to make a deal to juice up hundreds of drugstores with vitamin-packed GNC departments. In the years since, that partnership has survived, even as the two retailers underwent management changes, ownership shifts and, in Rite Aid's case, a messy accounting scandal. Ms. Kaplan, 49, is a survivor, too. She left the Camp Hill drugstore chain in the midst of an upheaval that eventually would see the chairman sentenced to jail time. She moved on to be a venture capitalist and then spent a few years at the Bath & Body Works chain. Now, she's back for another dose of health supplements. Last month, she was named GNC's president and chief merchandising and marketing officer.
Moderator says anti-English bigotry is 'like sectarianism'
The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland also claims in an Address for Lent on race relations in the UK that anti-English "banter" during sporting occasions could be harmful as it might lead to more sinister behaviour. The Rt Rev Sheilagh Kesting warns that anti-English attitudes are stoking growing anti-Scottish resentment south of the Border. In perhaps the most controversial passage of her address, the Moderator urged people to think twice before making racially tinged remarks during sporting events."There is a thin line between banter and something which is more sinister," she said. "In Scotland, we have got used to football as a context for perpetrating sectarianism so I don't think we can pass off lightly anti-English remarks which are made during matches. It is too easy to dismiss this as healthy rivalry.
Hip-Hop Rumors: Lil' Wayne's Detox? C-Murder & The Game's Mom? Mariah ...
My homey Johnny told me that C-Murder has signed The Game's mother to a deal. She soon is telling her life story in the form a book…and maybe a CD as rapper. “Life's Not A Fair Game" is supposedly the name of the book. I'm sure you all know, but Game's mother is a well respected OG in the Compton hood – I heard. NELLY'S TOTAL RULE OVER OTHER PEOPLE? Nelly is supposedly restarting the T.R.O.O.P. clothing line. What's funny about that is TROOP been “back" but they didn't get any burn. They used to say TROOP was owned by the KKK and mean Total Rule Over Other People. He needs to bring back VoKal (that site ain't been updated in 3 full years)! LIL' WAYNE WRITING ON DETOX? There is a lil' rumor going around that Lil' Wayne might be lending his writing or non writing talents to Dr.

We figured out why we should care about the Jonas Brothers a long time ago: their adorable curly hair, their songs about text messaging gone awry, their tight jeans, their silly ties and so on. For those less fortunate and not aware, Details magazine attempts to explain the phenomenon in its article "The Total Awesomeness of Being the Jonas Brothers." Unfortunately, the piece starts off in cringe-worthy fashion, portraying the sibs not exactly as awesome as we know they are. The brothers wear purity rings as a promise "to ourselves and to God that we'll stay pure till marriage." And they believe it "is just one of our ways of kind of like being different than everybody else out there." Oh, boys. Oh, poor, perfectly coiffed boys. Why did you do this? So many teen stars before you have made this same statement, and they inevitably let us down each time.
Don't skimp on skin care as nasty weather chaps and dries
DON'T WANT to spend a lot of time or money on specific new products? Softening your skin could be as easy as changing the temperature of the water you use to wash your face, or varying your morning beauty routine just slightly. We talked to dermatologists and aestheticians, who shared some inexpensive, over-the-counter products and easy-to-follow tips on how to keep skin supple. - Bathe better. Cool down your shower. The hotter water we use in the winter is one of the most powerful culprits behind dry skin, says Stephen Maberry of Fort Worth, Texas, Dermatology Associates, P.A. "If you want to clean an oily frying pan, you put it in hot soapy water. That's what you're doing to your skin" by taking long, steamy showers, he says. Steer clear of soaps such as Dial, Ivory and Zest.
A Heart-y Valentine's Day
Valentine's Day is coming, which means chocolates, gifts and an assortment of other goodies. Below is a collection of odds and ends to help you and your partner have a healthy, enhanced celebration. Chocolate's Bottom Line Is chocolate good for you? Hmm, not the way you probably eat it - with all kinds of added ingredients, including loads of sugar (and fat) to compensate for the bitterness of cocoa and to enhance the flavor. Yes, chocolate has flavanols, but the truth is that almost all plant foods in their natural states have antioxidants that can help fight off free radicals. And most health professionals argue that the high calories of chocolate offset any potential health gain. Dark chocolate with a high cocoa content, such as 70 percent (it tells you on the package), is the most likely to offer the heart-health benefits you're looking for.
Clinton and Obama take poll fight to the finish
Hillary Clinton was holding on early today in the face of a surge by Barack Obama in the Super Tuesday elections, one of the biggest and most competitive contests in US history. Obama and Clinton were slogging it out for the Democratic nomination, matching each other with victories in the early states. Both Republicans and Democrats were fighting it out coast-to-coast in 22 states for the right to represent their parties in the White House race in November. In the Republican race, John McCain, the Arizona senator, established himself as the clear front-runner. He was projected to take several key early states. For the Democrats, Obama made early gains, building on the momentum that has seen him eat into the 10- to 20-point poll lead Clinton had enjoyed only a few weeks earlier.
Coeur d'Alene Soldier Buried at Arlington National Cemetery
The battles between us a year ago where legendary. I musta bounced him a half dozen times. Then, I think, we decided we liked each other. And everything's been cool since. Ditto for Lesley Presley. Side Note. And others. At HBO (stiffling sob), you can always come home. .
