| Kranz: Huckabee keeps his interest in S.D.
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee is hanging in there as a Republican candidate for president. Never mind that he virtually has no chance of winning. No matter your politics, you have to admire his never-say-die attitude. Huckabee is carrying that same commitment in South Dakota. Former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards, a Democratic candidate and former Gov. Mitt Romney of Massachusetts, a Republican, had filed letters of intent to enter the June 3 South Dakota primary race but dropped out. Now, Huckabee is the only one in the state who has a letter of intent to enter the state's primary, the last of the season. Huckabee got an early boost here when Gov. Mike Rounds endorsed his candidacy. But since South Dakota ended its early primary, the state hasn't received much respect from national candidates.

Throw in anyone with any kind of infectious disease, after all, even the common cold can kill someone with an impaired immune system. The point is, medication is a treatment, not a cure. " **Sorry, Krusty's still not going to excuse someone for unjustly pointing a firearm at another person(s), pulling the trigger, and unleashing a bullet(s) which travel at a rate of ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED FEET PER SECOND (9mm muzzle velocity). You ought to look into "wound ballistics" before you get all weepy about your "victim" that did all the MURDERING. I would consider some sympathy if he would have just eaten his own pistol first and not MURDERED anyone else. " .
Kucinich Postpones Bush Impeachment Effort
You know who's been in more impeachment hearings than anybody in the House or Senate? Rob Kall: You? John Conyers: Right. Rob Kall: And you wrote a book on impeaching Bush, too. John Conyers: A couple, yes. Well there must be some compelling reason that I'm not doing it right now. Rob Kall: Pelosi, Pelosi keeps coming to mind. John Conyers: How could she stop, well, she could stop me because actually it goes through a special committee on the House, but, Pelosi can't stop me from anything, really. Rob Kall: Really? John Conyers: Yeah. Rob Kall: So it's you stopping you, nobody else? John Conyers: Well I don't know whose ever stopped me before, I don't know why Pelosi's going to stop me now.

Your ignorance, bias, and un-fair and im-balance shows through, Ms. Brigid. The people shown in the film were not 'anti-immigrant' or 'racist', they were 'anti-ILLEGAL-immigration' and definitely not racist. Also, your quoting of a well-known feloneous (aiding and abetting illegal immigration is a felony) hate group, the SPLC, for your statistics on so-called hate crimes (thought control) puts you in the same category: a bigoted, felony-supporting, un-fair and im-balanced anti-American. Both you and Huckabee should take a Hike! Wayne wrote on Dec 14, 2007 8:56 AM:Just because I am against the illegal aliens coming into my country, supporting the Minutemen, doesn't make me a racist. Many of you need to get your definitions straight on what a racist is. However, those same will continue the name calling no matter what, and since by calling those of us racists makes their world a happy and bright world, go for it.

His inability to sustain his early and successful fund raising pace suggests that that reality is beginning to dawn on the Illinois Senator's donor base. Gore need only to whistle and he will find Hollywood celebrities falling all over themselves in an effort to help him raise funds. Gore's own relationships with Democratic donors run deep and long standing. With environmentalists making up a large segment of Democratic Party money, Gore would quickly rise to the top of the fund raising list. Does he have enough time to organize in the early primary states? Gore's late entry and national celebrity gives him an ability to avoid the micro-primary and caucus in Iowa and New Hampshire. He can go focus on the big states of Michigan and Florida and come out ahead.

SURPRISE, Ariz. -- The reformed drug addict stood before us, telling his story of failure and redemption and how this time he just knew everything would be OK, that he would never go back to cocaine again. He knew the temptations, he said, had succumbed to them all, and because he loved his family, loved God, loved baseball, he understood now how to avoid those pitfalls in the future. Yep, Steve Howe said all the right things in all the right ways, which is why the Rangers gave him a chance back in 1987, first signing him to a Triple A contract at Oklahoma City, calling him up a month later and then handing him a two-year, $1.2 million contract the next off-season. Fourteen months later, Howe was released by the Rangers, who'd warned him that he was under a zero-tolerance policy, for violating his aftercare program by drinking alcohol.
